Who is he really?

Is Joe a feather sporting, gold medalist figure skater by night, and I just don't know it? Or does he just look a whole lot like Evan Lysacek? You be the judge.

Pre Valentine's

Alan my brother is getting married this week. I have been bemoaning the fact that Joe and I will not get a Valentine's day this year because of the craziness going on in our lives, but I do have to be grateful. Joe's dad always gets me a dozen roses every year. He gave them to me a week early this year. There is just something about having fresh flowers around the house.

Drum Circle

Life has been so insanley busy lately that of course the blog has been put on the back burner. Recently I was put in charge of the Young Women at our church. I have worked with the girls that are 16-18  for a little over a year and now I get to work with all of them from 12-18. It has been so much fun getting to know them better. They really are the most darling girls. This past week we had one of the greatest activites ever! A drum circle. Joe made African food and we jammed out until our fingers were swollen. I think I might be investing in a drum soon.
